Responsibilities :Evaluate and diagnose speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders in patientsDevelop individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and goalsProvide speech therapy services to patientsImplement evidence-based therapeutic techniques to improve speech and language skillsMonitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessaryCollaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive careMaintain accurate and up-to-date patient recordsEducate patients and their families on communication strategies and techniquesSkills :Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology related to speech and language disordersProficient in conducting patient assessments and interpreting assessment resultsExperience in case management and coordinating care for patients with complex needsAbility to develop and implement effective treatment plans based on individual patient goalsExcellent communication skills, both verbal and writtenAbility to work effectively in a hospital or clinical setting, including critical care environmentsStrong organizational skills and attention to detailNote : This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive.
