Position Overview

Summit Skilled Solutions is looking for two qualified Conveyor Mechanics to join our team on a 24 week assignment. The mechanics will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining conveyor systems to ensure safe, efficient, and reliable operation. Candidates must be prepared to work 5060 hours per week, including potential weekends.

Key Responsibilities

Assemble, install, and align conveyor systems and related equipment.

Perform troubleshooting, diagnostics, and repairs on mechanical conveyor components.

Conduct preventative maintenance and ensure compliance with safety standards.

Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and manuals.

Work effectively as a team to meet project deadlines and production goals.

Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in clean and safe condition.

Qualifications

Proven experience as a Conveyor Mechanic, Millwright, or in a similar mechanical role.

Strong knowledge of conveyor systems, mechanical assemblies, and alignment procedures.

Ability to read blueprints, technical manuals, and schematics.

Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring instruments.

Strong safety awareness and adherence to OSHA standards.

Ability to work long shifts and overtime as required.

Must be reliable, punctual, and able to work as part of a 2-person team.
