An  ADT Security Small Business Sales Representative  (also called a Business Sales Representative) is responsible for selling innovative smart security and automation solutions to businesses by understanding their needs, demonstrating product value, and building client relationships. Key duties include engaging potential customers, explaining services, recommending solutions, and meeting sales goals in a dynamic environment, with compensation often based on uncapped commissions and unlimited earning potential. The role requires strong communication, sales, and problem-solving skills, and the ability to adapt to customer and market needs. Key Responsibilities

Prospecting and Engagement : Identify and contact potential small business clients to understand their unique security requirements and challenges.

Consultative Selling : Conduct needs assessments, explain the benefits of ADT's security and smart business solutions, and recommend the right tailored packages.

Demonstrating Value : Showcase the innovative features and advantages of ADT's products and services to prospective clients.

Key duties include presenting new solutions, managing the sales process, and conducting post-installation follow-ups to secure referrals.

Core responsibilities :

Sales and reactivation :  Contacting former ADT customers to reactivate their security systems or sell upgraded products.

Sales presentations :  Delivering compelling proposals that highlight the benefits of current ADT products and services.

Prospecting :  Using various techniques to identify and engage potential customers, with a focus on increasing resale rates.

Customer relationship management :  Building and maintaining relationships with customers, including conducting post-installation follow-ups and seeking referrals.

Sales process management :  Using tools like Salesforce to manage leads, track sales activity, and complete necessary documentation.

Quota achievement :  Meeting or exceeding a specific sales quota for the assigned territory.
