We are looking for a new Local Delivery Driver to join our growing New York Team and Fulfillment Center network. This individual will report into our Local Operations Supervisor and is responsible for ensuring orders are delivered to customers in a safe, secure, prompt, and accurate manner. & &

Job Type :   Full-Time, Non-Exempt

Location :   130 Spagnoli Road, Melville NY

Schedule :  Monday through Friday, from 7 : 30am to 4 : 00pm EST&

Base Salary :  $25.18 per hour (paid weekly)

Responsibilities :

• Loading, transporting, and delivering items to local customers
• Reviewing inventory to ensure the correct items are delivered to customers
• Communicating regularly with the Local Operations Team Lead to review, monitor, and correct delivery errors
• Communicating regularly with the local delivery route organizer and following scheduled routes for daily deliveries
• Abiding by all transportation laws and maintaining safe driving record
• If needed, operating forklifts and pallet jacks in a safe manner
• Ensuring the delivery vehicle is clean, safe, organized and functioning properly
• Adhering to safety policies and procedures to ensure a safe work environment &
• Adhering to the performance standards and expectations to their assigned department
• All other duties as assigned by the Local Operations Team Lead and / or SupplyHouse.com management including but not limited to assisting in other departments throughout the fulfillment center and adhering to that department's expectations &

Requirements :

Ability to push and pull objects up to 60 pounds of force independently
