Position Overview

The Registered Sleep Technician plays a vital role in the Cardiopulmonary Department Sleep Labs, specializing in conducting polysomnography diagnostic testing and scoring. This position requires excellent communication skills to clearly explain procedures and ensure patient comfort throughout the evaluation process. The Sleep Technician is dedicated to ethical, compassionate care, providing respect and dignity to each patient while maintaining a high standard of safety, quality, and patient experience. They collaborate closely with patients, families, colleagues, and physicians, following hospital policies, regulatory requirements, and clinical standards.

The Sleep Technician practices accountability and efficiency, contributing to a positive work environment and optimal patient care outcomes. The position involves emergency response duties and requires the ability to manage critical changes in patient conditions. Effective communication, professional conduct, and teamwork are essential to support the overall success of the Sleep Lab team.

Compensation for this role is based on education, experience, and certification, starting at $26.54 per hour. This position is eligible for a $7,500 sign-on bonus.
