Position Summary :

We are seeking a skilled Network Implementation Engineer to support the replacement of a core network switching infrastructure. This role involves assisting with the deployment of new network equipment, planning and executing a seamless cutover from the existing environment, and ensuring operational integrity during and after the transition.

Key Responsibilities :

Review and assess current core network configurations

Participate in planning sessions to coordinate upgrade timing and risk mitigation

Assist with physical installation, configuration validation, and migration support

Work alongside project management to ensure efficient coordination during scheduled downtime

Recommend best practices and identify configuration improvements if necessary

Create or update network documentation and diagrams as needed

Support testing and post-cutover validation

Requirements :

5+ years of hands-on experience in enterprise network deployments

Strong understanding of core routing, switching, and network design principles

Experience planning and executing hardware replacements and cutovers

Ability to analyze configurations and suggest optimizations based on best practices

Comfortable working in high-stakes, scheduled outage environments

Excellent communication and coordination skills

Preferred Qualifications :

Industry certifications (e.g., CCNP, JNCIP, or equivalent experience)

Familiarity with modern data center architectures

Experience in multi-site network environments
