Your Role : You'll be essential to our success, overseeing the department's large volume of small commercial accounts and relentlessly optimizing our workflows for peak efficiency. You will partner with leadership to scale operations, drive growth, and ensure a seamless client journey for every small business. This position is about leading the charge, building a productive team, and executing high-impact strategies.
What You'll Do :
Manage and service the large, diverse portfolio of small business clients, focusing on renewal efficiency and policy accuracy.
Innovate new workflows and procedures for superior efficiency and scalability.
Collaborate with the Director to manage daily operations of the small commercial team.
Identify and capture new business and cross-selling opportunities within the small business segment.
Ensure the team meets and exceeds agency goals for production and retention.
Focus on delivering a fast, accurate, and standout client service experience.
Analyze monthly reports to measure progress, identify bottlenecks, and drive continuous improvement.
Nurture strong relationships with our Small Business and BOP (Business Owner Policy) carrier partners .
Lead and mentor your team, creating a positive, results-driven work environment.
Train staff on our management systems and processing protocols.
Contribute to hiring and staff evaluations.
What We Need From You :
5+ years of Commercial Lines experience, with significant exposure to small business / BOP coverage.
An active MA P&C License.
Experience with Applied Epic is a big plus.
You're a proactive problem-solver with a strong focus on systems and process improvement.
You're organized, accountable, and a great communicator.
A team player through and through.
