Job Description : \nSeeking a skilled Registered Nurse (RN) for its Emergency Room (ER). This is a 13-week contract position with opportunities for flexible scheduling, including day and evening shifts. • Provide direct patient care in the ER, including triage, assessment, and treatment of acute illnesses and injuries.\n
• Stabilize patients and coordinate transfers when necessary.\n
• Collaborate with ER physicians, mid-level providers, and ancillary staff.\n
• Maintain accurate documentation in Cerner EMR system.\n
• Follow hospital protocols for patient safety, infection control, and emergency procedures.\n
• Work collaboratively with clinical techs, unit clerks, and security personnel.\n\nRequirements : \n
• License : Active RN license eligible for California\n
• Experience : Minimum 2 years in an acute care or ER setting\n
• Education : BSN preferred but not required\n
• Certifications : ACLS, BLS, PALS, NIHSS, COVID-19 Vaccine required\n
• Ability to work 12-hour shifts, including every other weekend and holidays on rotation\n
• Strong adaptability, team orientation, and professional demeanor\n\nER Unit Details : \n
• Fast track : 1 area with 3 treatment spaces\n
• 14 beds, trauma stabilization only\n
• Patient average per day : 65\n
• Nurse-to-patient ratio : 1 : 4\n
• RT, Pharmacy, and Security available 24 / 7\n
