Registered Nurse (RN) - TMC Vascular Access Team
We are searching for a Registered Nurse (RN) Vascular Access Team - to perform all tasks necessary to manage the care of pediatric and adult patients needing difficult venous access, care of the central venous catheter, PICC, and midline ensuring quality patient care while minimizing related complications. The vascular access nurse will also provide education to patients, families, medical, and nursing staff in the care of peripheral and central lines. Job duties are performed in a manner that is developmentally age appropriate for the patients served including the neonate, infant, child, adolescent, and adult.

Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in nursingCurrent licensure with the Board of Nursing for the State of Texas or Nurse Licensure Compact and BLS certification1 year of professional nursing experience (2yrs preferred)The ability to demonstrate positive and appropriate interpersonal skills, good time and resource management skills, flexibility, strong oral and written communication skills, knowledge of central line care and IV insertion, and knowledge of the nursing process, critical thinking skills, and interdisciplinary collaborationResponsibilities
