General Statement of Duties : Performs duties as assigned by the Highway Superintendent. Performs routine construction, maintenance, and repair activities. Operates a variety of vehicles, heavy equipment, and power tools. Installs and maintains signs and other traffic control devices. Supervisory Responsibilities : As delegated by the Highway Superintendent. Minimum Qualifications : Has work experience with highway construction, heavy equipment or maintenance activities. Physical ability to perform heavy manual labor. Ability to follow written or verbal instructions. Other Requirements : A valid Commercial Drivers License is mandatory within 60 days of hiring. Must have a valid Drivers License. Skill in the safe operation of complex motorized equipment.
