LocumJobsOnline is working with Curative to find a qualified Hematology and Oncology MD in Peoria, Illinois, 61637!

Pay Information

$450 to $550 per hour

About The Position

Medical Oncology Locums Physician - Illinois, No Call or Weekends

Outpatient Medical Oncology opportunity in Illinois with no call, no weekends, and high shift availability near Peoria.

Highlights

Practice Setting

  • New Medical Oncology program within a large hospital system
  • Primarily outpatient clinic care with some inpatient rounding and consults
  • Collaborative care model supported by an experienced APP
  • Multidisciplinary cancer team environment

    • Schedule

  • Monday to Friday only; 20 shifts / month
  • 7 : 30 a.m. start; expect up to 12-hour shifts
  • PRN medical oncologist also on-site one week / month

    • Cases and Procedures

  • Direct patient care including consults, admissions, and follow-ups
  • Inpatient rounding in collaboration with APP
  • Focused on adult oncology patients
  • Integration with a multidisciplinary oncology care team

    • Requirements

  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Medical Oncology (within 5 years)
  • Active Illinois license, ACLS, and CSR required
  • Must be able to cover at least 12 shifts / month

    • Travel Accommodations

  • Airfare, lodging, rental car, and mileage all covered
  • On-site credentialing support provided
  • 60-day credentialing timeline
