Job description

Security Officer - Auto Site Patrol

As a Security Officer - Auto Site Patrol in Whiteland, IN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Auto, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas within an automotive environment, helping to deter security-related incidents through your visible presence. You will conduct routine patrols, interact with individuals on site, and provide outstanding customer service while upholding our values of integrity, teamwork, and reliability. This role offers the opportunity to be part of an agile and innovative team that puts people first, making a real impact in maintaining a secure and welcoming atmosphere at the location.

Position Type : Full Time

Pay Rate : $17.00 / Hour

Job Schedule :

Day Time Mon 02 : 00 PM - 10 : 00 PM

Tue 02 : 00 PM - 10 : 00 PM

Wed 02 : 00 PM - 10 : 00 PM

Thur 02 : 00 PM - 10 : 00 PM

Fri 02 : 00 PM - 10 : 00 PM

What You'll Do :

  • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities :

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and / or emergency response activities as needed.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns. Working environments and conditions may vary by client site.
  • Observe and report any unusual activity or security-related incidents in accordance with Allied Universal policies.
  • Communicate professionally with visitors, employees, and / or contractors while maintaining a visible presence.
  • Assist with access control and verify credentials of individuals entering the location as required.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
