Job description3+ years of professional experience in film, television, or multimedia production Proven track record in producing, directing, or post-production supervision Expertise with industry-standard production and editing tools (e.g., Adobe Premiere, After Effects, DaVinci Resolve, Nuke) Strong organizational skills with attention to continuity and detail Ability to collaborate asynchronously while delivering high-quality results independently Remote and asynchronous — work on your own schedule Flexible engagement, typically 30-40 hours / week Project-based contract, with potential for ongoing collaborations $45-$65 / hour depending on experience and geography Paid weekly via Stripe Connect Engagement structured as independent contracting Submit your resume or portfolio showcasing relevant production or post-production work Complete a brief form to outline your expertise and preferred focus areas Expect follow-up within a few days regarding next steps Mercor is a talent marketplace that connects top experts with leading AI labs and research organizations Our investors include Benchmark, General Catalyst, Adam D’Angelo, Larry Summers, and Jack Dorsey Thousands of professionals across domains like law, creatives, engineering, and research have partnered with Mercor to contribute to frontier AI projects

Overview
Mercor is collaborating with leading AI labs to work with experienced production and post-production professionals. We are seeking specialists including producers, directors, continuity experts, and VFX artists to ensure high production value and disciplined multimedia workflows. This engagement offers the chance to contribute creative and technical expertise toward shaping how AI systems learn from and generate cinematic-quality outputs.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and structure multimedia production pipelines for consistency and quality
- Maintain continuity across scenes and sequences for coherence
- Design and refine visual effects to enhance production quality
- Review AI-generated outputs and provide expert evaluation for realism and polish
