Licensed Practical Nurse LPN

Valley View Village, a Cassia community , is hiring Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN) to join our team! Our community qualifies for Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF) in Iowa after 120 qualifying payments. Day 6 : 00 am to 2 : 30 pm

Evening 2 : 00 pm to 10 : 30 pm

Licensed Practical Nurse Responsibilities :

• Notifies Clinical Manager, attending physicians, and family members of significant changes in a resident's condition, and takes follow up action as necessary
• Administers medications and / or treatments in accordance with physician's orders and monitors for effectiveness / response.
• Monitor residents and reports any change in their condition.
• Documents care using computerized medication administration and charting software.
• Displays a courteous attitude and respect for all residents, families, and staff.
• Monitor performance of CNA staff.
• Use strong interpersonal skills when interacting with others.
