ABOUT THE POSITION

Structural Engineer - Building Design | Watertown, MA

In this position, you would serve an important role in planning, analysis, design, detailing of a diverse range of structural projects, as well as supporting other projects as needed. The ideal candidate should possess a "can-do" attitude, excellent verbal and written communication skills, and an ability to work independently as well as with a team in a dynamic, fast paced, and fun environment.

Responsibilities

Develops, organizes, and implements structural planning, analysis, preliminary and final design document preparation for structural projects

• Supports and mentors junior team members in the development of design plans, technical oversight, specifications, design calculations, load ratings, cost estimates, reports, final bid packages, etc.
• Support a diverse range of structural projects across VHB's footprint

Our best estimate of the salary range for this position located in Boston / Watertown, MA is $90,000-115,000 The final compensation will be based on a variety of factors such as individual qualifications, education, and experience.
