Swing Driver Position

Up to $5,000 Sign On Bonus! WIN Waste Innovations is looking for a Swing Driver. A Swing Driver safely operates a heavy-duty truck to perform assigned duties on swing routes. Responsibilities include : operating the vehicle in accordance with Occupational and Safety Health Act (OSHA) and Department of Transportation (DOT) requirements, performing pre- and post-trip inspections of the assigned vehicle, reporting any unsafe situations or service calls to the Route Manager or Dispatch, participating in all scheduled training, briefings, and meetings, working closely with Route Managers to improve route efficiencies, performing all duties as scheduled by Route Manager or Dispatch, assisting other company drivers as directed, notifying Route Manager of any incidents, accidents, injures, or property damage, notifying Dispatch or Route Manager of issues as prescribed by Service Machine protocol, communicating customer requests or issues to Dispatch or Route Manager, completely dumping all containers and leaving the customer's location clean and free of debris, completing and submitting customer tickets when excess yardage must be removed, positioning containers on the customer's property in a manner that ensures lids are properly replaced, containers are set in an upright position, and containers do not block driveway entrances or traffic, following route assignments throughout the day, and completing all documentation when checking-in at the end of the route. Maintain a positive work environment by acting and communicating in a manner so that you get along with customers, clients, vendors, co-workers, and management.

Qualifications : The requirements listed below are representative of the qualifications necessary to perform the job. Education and Experience : No education required, two years previous experience in a driver position. Certificates, Licenses, Registrations or Other Requirements : Commercial Driver's License B (CDL). The CDL is a requirement, therefore, an applicant must be 21 years of age. Eligible to legally work in the United States. Acceptable driving record required.
