RN Supervisor

River Ridge Living Center is located in Amsterdam, NY. We are a 120-bed skilled nursing facility. We are seeking a registered nurse supervisor to join our team.

Shift (2p-10p ) Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday

The ideal candidate will be a responsible and well-trained professional, integral to our mission of promoting patient well-being. You will be able to give the best nursing care with supervision to compassionate and cool-tempered staff. You will be able to follow health and safety guidelines faithfully and consistently.

Responsibilities

Supervisor staffing is assigned to the shift and will provide input on staff reviews. Conduct rounds on all units. Review reports with the nurse charge and check on residents listed on the report.

• Check on new residents admitted to the facility
• Ensure that resident comfort and safety is being maintained
• Ensure that resident dignity and privacy are being attended to
• Provide advice and emotional support to patients and their family members
• Supervise LPNs and nursing assistants
• Expand knowledge and capabilities by attending educational workshops, conferences, etc.
