Summary :

As a Licensed Vocational Nurse, you will provide exceptional patient care under the supervision of a physician or registered nurse in a dynamic clinic environment. Join us in making a difference in patients' lives while adhering to established standards and practices.

Responsibilities :

• Exhibit the core competencies of OneCHRISTUS, embodying the spirit of a leader whether as an individual contributor or in collaboration with others.
• Under physician guidance, perform essential patient care tasks including obtaining vital signs, assisting in examinations, and collecting specimens, including phlebotomy.
• Facilitate communication by managing phone inquiries and assisting providers with patient-related calls.
• Support in scheduling tests, managing results, and obtaining pre-certifications to ensure seamless patient care.
• Accurate documentation of patient information to maintain up-to-date medical records.
• Assist providers with medication refills, ensuring a smooth process for both physicians and patients.
• Administer medications and immunizations per provider orders to enhance patient health outcomes.
• Maintain a clean and organized clinical environment by cleaning and restocking exam rooms, adhering to safety protocols, and ordering necessary supplies.
• Perform routine clerical tasks, including locating patient charts and completing necessary forms effectively.
• Participate in mandatory meetings and in-service training, embracing continuous learning and performing other duties as assigned.
