Job Description
- Receive mentorship and guidance from senior level Civil Engineers through a variety of civil engineering projects.
- Perform redlines on project drawings, pull technical reports and complete quantity calculations and assist with project cost estimates.
- Collaborate and communicate effectively with project teams such as CAD designers, engineers, subcontractors to complete projects safely, on time, and with high quality.
- Assist in client contact and communications.
- May include onsite construction observation duties during the construction phase of projects.
Qualifications
Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering or related Engineering degree.0-3 years of experience in Civil EngineeringExperience in the design and construction of state DOT and county highway projects preferred.Experience operating MicroStation, Geopak, and / or AutoCAD preferred.Working knowledge of applicable federal, state, and local codes.Valid driver's license with a good driving record.Benefits of Joining HEI
