Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Electrician III to support day-to-day electrical maintenance operations for government-owned facilities and systems. This role requires strong expertise in industrial and commercial electrical systems the ability to respond to emergency call-ins and strict adherence to safety security and compliance standards.

Due to the sensitive nature of the work U.S. citizenship and an active security clearance are required.

Mandatory Requirements (Non-Negotiable)

• U.S. Citizen

• Active Tier 3 / NACLC / Secret security clearance

• Ability to pass annual Fit for Duty physical respirator medical clearance and respirator fit testing

• Availability for emergency call-ins as needed

Key Responsibilities

• Perform daily maintenance and repair of electrical systems across government facilities

• Troubleshoot and maintain systems including:

  • VFDs AHUs motors ATS and UPS systems

  • Industrial and low-voltage lighting systems

• Read and interpret blueprints schematics control diagrams and technical specifications

• Perform electrical load calculations

• Safely use hand tools power tools and electrical testing equipment

• Ensure compliance with NEC and NFPA 70E standards

• Maintain safe work practices in accordance with site policies and federal regulations

Required Skills & Experience

• Minimum 3 years of electrical trade experience (5 years preferred)

• Strong knowledge of high- and low-voltage electrical systems

• Experience in industrial or commercial electrical environments

• High school diploma or equivalent

• Familiarity with government facility maintenance is preferred

Preferred Qualifications

• OSHA 10 certification

• Experience with Building Automation Systems (BAS)

• Industrial controls experience

• Experience working in laboratory environments (e.g. fume hoods lab benches)
