As a Security Professional - Government Patrol Driver - Armed in New Port Richey, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an armed patrol officer with Allied Universal at a government location, you will conduct routine patrols, remain highly visible to help deter security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. This post requires both an armed guard license and a valid driver's license, as you will be responsible for driving patrol routes and responding to situations as needed. What You'll Do :

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and / or emergency response activities as needed.

Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, applying training and protocols specific to government locations.

Conduct regular and random armed patrols around the assigned location and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and / or suspicious behavior.

Monitor and report any unusual activity, security-related breaches, or hazardous conditions encountered during patrols.

Maintain awareness of surroundings and communicate clearly with team members and law enforcement as required.

Document incidents and daily activities in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific requirements.

Follow all protocols for access control and visitor management as outlined for government locations.

Support emergency preparedness and response tasks as directed by Allied Universal or site management.

Minimum Requirements :

A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

At least one year of armed security, law enforcement, or military experience is required.

An armed guard card or license is required.

Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.

Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Participate in industry-specific security training programs.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
