Job descriptionActive Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license. Acute care experience. Inpatient Rehabilitation (IPR) experience. Modified Barium Swallow (MBS) training. Fiberoptic Endoscopic Evaluation of Swallowing (FEES) training. The position requires floating between units. Weekend work is required, with rotation among 2-3 SLPs. On-call is not required. Specific work schedule and shift type are not provided. Block schedules are not required.
Job Summary :
This position is for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) who will float between units and provide treatment to approximately 6-8 patients per day. The role requires an independent and quick-learning individual with acute care and IPR experience, and preferably MBS and FEES training.

Responsibilities :
- Provide speech-language pathology services in acute care and IPR settings.
- Conduct patient assessments and develop treatment plans.
- Perform Modified Barium Swallow (MBS) studies and Fiberoptic Endoscopic Evaluation of Swallowing (FEES), if trained.
- Document patient care and progress in the electronic medical record.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure coordinated patient care.
