Mechanical Design Engineer Sr
You will be the Mechanical Design Engineer for the Long Range Maneuvering Fires (LRMF) Program team. Our team is responsible for designing, building, and testing a demonstration missile, as well as developing a tactical / objective missile design.

This position is in Grand Prairie, TX. MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position requires the ability to obtain a Secret security clearance.
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or aerospace engineering is required. Experience with CREO (Pro / Engineer) and PTC Windchill is required. Experience with creating engineering drawings in accordance with ASME Y14.100 is required. Basic understanding interpreting and developing GD&T in accordance with ASME Y14.5 is required. Basic Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) skills are required. Needs ability to obtain / maintain a secret clearance. US citizenship required.
Desired Skills
Previous mechanical experience in missile design is highly desirable. Good verbal and written communication skills are desirable. Demonstrated experience and ability to coordinate with multi-functional teams and prioritize conflicting tasks is desirable.

Ability to Work Remotely
Part-time Remote Telework : The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.

Pay Rate
The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $85,500 - $150,765. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only.
