Nitty Gritty

Our client’s name often shows up next to or near the words ‘prestigious’ and ‘premier.’ This is a leading medical center with national reach, providing care and conducting research at several different facilities all over New York. As an editor on the content team, you’ll immediately jump into a relaunch of their med school’s website, editing and restructuring content to gel with the site redesign. It will be your job to make sure all digital content on the website meets the gold standard set by the pioneering work they do.

You will be responsible for a ton of copy, from descriptions of academic degrees and research programs to complex scientific topics and disciplines. Using an ‘authoritative yet welcoming’ editorial voice, the content will be more about presenting information with clarity, and less about marketing appeal. With this in mind, you will make sure that the work is done accurately and succinctly, making the trains run on time for the big redesign and beyond

The highest caliber person for this gig will be at the apex of journalistic, editorial and medical/scientific knowhow. They have demonstrated experience in turning complex, analytic information into palatable content. As a fulltime senior editor, you’ll bring your impressive medical writing experience whether it be in cardiology, emergency medicine, orthopedics, rehabilitation, all of the above, or other areas entirely (the sky is the limit) to the table everyday as a key member of this top-flight center’s digital communications team.
