POSITION SUMMARY
To provide clean linen to all Patient Care areas following Infection Control guidelines. Responsible for maintain the level of inventory for Scrubs. Determine daily orders and stock par levels of clean linen through a data base system.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Daily orders and stock of clean linen
- Oversee the function and stock of Surgical Scrubs through the ScrubEx machine.
- Comply to all Infection Control guidelines (Title 22)
- Daily Reports on orders and inventory
- Know & follow hospital / Department Policy & Procedures at all times
- Follow Safety procedures exactly as outlined in the department’s proedure manual
- Demonstrate the ability to maintain all equipment in the assigned work area assuring that it is in the safe, clean and proper working order.
- All other duties as assigned by Supervisor / Manager.
- Demonstrate knowledge and or performs all skills a require on department schedule.
- Follow all Infection Control policies and procedures
- Pick up communicate tools / equipment and sign out at the beginning of shift. Return and sign in at end of shift.
- Report any damage to Supervisor.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
A. Education
High school graduate or GED PreferredB. Qualifications / Experience
6 months Laundry and Linen experience, preferably in a hospital settingBasic computer skill and mouse skill preferredC. Special Skills / Knowledge
Knowledgeable with Scrubs dispensing equipment
