About The Position

Job description : About the Position

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate  Physical Therapist (PT)  to join our rehabilitation team in  Sanford, ME . The ideal candidate will provide high-quality, evidence-based therapy services to help patients improve mobility, function, and quality of life.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, plan, and implement individualized treatment programs for patients of varying ages and conditions.
• Deliver hands-on therapy interventions and therapeutic exercises to restore function and reduce pain.
• Monitor and document patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as needed.
• Collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, and other rehabilitation team members.
• Educate patients and families on home exercise programs, safety, and ongoing recovery strategies.
• Ensure compliance with all state, federal, and facility regulations.

Job Requirements

Current and valid  Maine Physical Therapist (PT) license .

Graduate of an accredited  Physical Therapy program .

Current  CPR / BLS certification  preferred.

Excellent communication, documentation, and problem-solving skills.

Experience in a skilled nursing, outpatient, or rehab setting preferred — new graduates encouraged to apply!
