Armed Security Officer

The Armed Security Officer is responsible for providing a safe and secure environment for patients, visitors, and staff; and to interact with people, with an emphasis on professional service and customer relations. The Armed Security Officer should have a working knowledge and understanding of the use of deadly physical force. This position works closely with staff, local law enforcement, and other government agencies. Demonstrate respect, dignity, kindness and empathy in each encounter with all patients, families, visitors and other employees regardless of cultural background.

Patrol Activity :

• Directs visitors, patients and employees to appropriate location(s) and intervenes to prevent and control disturbances.
• Protecting, securing, and safeguarding all persons on SEH property.
