Your Responsibilities as a Managing Engineer :

• Lead and manage a team of engineers and technical staff on a wide variety of infrastructure projectsfrom planning and design through bidding and construction.
• Drive operational excellence by monitoring project schedules budgets technical quality and team workload.
• Strengthen and expand client relationships and workload through responsive value-driven engineering solutions.
• Guide and mentor staff to cultivate a high-performing team culture focused on quality accountability and professional growth.
• Develop and strengthen client relationships by proactively identifying new business opportunities through networking thoughtful engagement proposal preparation and client presentations supporting the growth of our regional business development program.
• Partner with division leadership on strategic planning business development and client relationship management throughout the western U.S.
• Play a central role in talent development succession planning and long-term organizational sustainability.
• Take the lead for refinement and implementation of the firms strategy business growth plan and day-to-day operations of our Sacramento office to achieve overall corporate objectives and ensure profitability.
