Job Summary
Maintains athletic fields, intramural fields, band fields, practice fields and grounds as needed by performing skilled grounds repair and upkeep tasks. This position requires night and weekend work and flexible scheduling due to sporting event schedules and the impact of weather conditions on job duties. This position is considered essential and could require storm duty.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in agronomy, soil science, turfgrass management or related field and 2-4 years of experience in sports field management at a college level or an associate's degree in agronomy, soil science, turfgrass management or a related field and 3-5 years of sports field management experience at a college level. Valid Driver's License.

Preferred Qualifications :
Certified Commercial Pesticide Applicator Certification from the State of Mississippi issued by the Department of Agriculture or ability to acquire within 6 months.
