Rate : $36.60 $45.00 per hour
Shift : Full-Time | Day Shift

Position Summary :
The Occupational Therapist is responsible for evaluating patients and developing, implementing, and monitoring individualized treatment plans to help patients regain or improve their physical and cognitive abilities in accordance with the principles of Occupational Therapy.
Essential Responsibilities :
Assess patients' physical, cognitive, and psychosocial abilities to establish treatment goals.
Develop and implement individualized occupational therapy treatment plans.
Reassess and adjust treatment as needed to ensure progress toward goals.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including physicians, nurses, and other therapists.
Educate patients and caregivers on home programs and adaptive techniques.
Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with facility and regulatory standards.
Participate in discharge planning and recommend appropriate follow-up care.
Ensure all therapy services comply with legal, ethical, and institutional standards.
Position Requirements :
Education :
Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Therapy (required)
Master's Degree in Occupational Therapy (preferred)
Experience :
Prior hospital-based experience preferred
Licensure / Certification :
Current Kansas Occupational Therapist License (or eligibility for licensure)
CPR Certification (Basic Life Support from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross) must be obtained within 90 days of hire
