Automotive Sales Client Advisor

Sunwise Automotive Group is looking for an Automotive Sales Client Advisor (aka Salesperson) to join our growing and expanding team at Weatherford BMW/MINI Of Berkeley. As an Automotive Sales Client Advisor you will create a world-class automotive retail experience by thoughtfully assessing the wants and needs of your guests in the sales department.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Nurture enriching relationships to build clientele for life
• Exhibit consultative selling skills. Assist customers in selecting a new vehicle by asking questions and listening carefully to their responses
• Spending time with clients to determine their needs and advise vehicle options and pricing
• Continuously develop product and sales acumen to become the vehicle authority. Know the ins and the outs of product offerings, optional packages, and the latest technologies
• Working with the Sales Management team to provide quotes and explain financing options
• Report directly to the Sales Manager regarding objectives, planned activities, reviews, and analyses
• Use the CRM to follow up with prospective client customers, set appointments, answer leads, follow up on portfolio and return email / voicemail throughout the day
• Perform high-quality, professional demonstrations of new vehicles
• Follow-up with buyers to ensure successful referral business
• Learn to overcome objections and thrive within sales situations
• Bring your ‘A game’ along with a positive attitude to work with you every single day
• Performs other administrative duties as assigned by management
• Maintains high ethical standards in all actions
• Always maintains professional appearance

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Minimum of 2 to 3 years of automotive sales experience
• Highline dealership experience a plus
• Available to work flexible hours and weekends
• Self-starter mentality and ambitious spirit preferred
• Ready to waste no time on learning product ins and outs, eager to improve
• Phenomenal communication skills with customers and team members
• Professional, well-groomed personal appearance
• Clean driving record and valid driver’s license
• CDK experience a plus
• Ability to drive manual transmission preferred
• Excellent follow through and customer service skills
• High attention to detail

COMPENSATION:

The Client Advisor Position has a Monthly Pay Range of $3,342.53-$15,000. Pay Scale consisting of the following elements. Wages include Base Hourly Compensation and may also pay commission compensation which is based on the value or amount of closed sales achieved from $0.00 (if no sales are made) without any upper limit other than sales performance. The position may also pay a production bonus based on individual or team performance that may range from $0.00 (if baseline benchmarks are not met) without any fixed upper limit.

• Monthly Pay Range: $3,342.53-$15,000/month. This position pays hourly plus monthly commission.
