Pulmonary and Sleep Outpatient - Physician Assistant Newnan

Piedmont Healthcare is currently recruiting for a Physician Assistant to join the Piedmont Pulmonary and Sleep office in Newnan. This is a full-time outpatient position.

Key Responsibilities :

Ambulatory care responsibilities include, but are not limited to :

• Functions as an independent provider in a busy Pulmonary office with MD s available to assist in evaluating complex patients as needed.
• Takes patient histories, conducts physical examinations, writes progress notes, and develops appropriate treatment plans.
• Orders and interprets laboratory studies and diagnostic procedures including Chest X-rays, Chest CT s and Pulmonary Function testing. Explains necessity, nature, and results of scheduled diagnostic and therapeutic procedure(s) to the patient
