Job description

Sr Subcontract Administrator

We are seeking an experienced Sr Subcontract Administrator to provide comprehensive cradle-to-grave subcontract administration support for various government contracts. This role involves effective oversight, negotiation, and resolution of subcontract issues, ensuring compliance with company policies and federal government requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Administer subcontracts of various types and complexity.
  • Negotiate Subcontract Agreements, including pricing, terms / conditions, and required flow downs.
  • Identify and resolve issues on assigned subcontracts and make recommendations to management.
  • Perform subcontract close-out activities.
  • Negotiate Non-Disclosure Agreements and Teaming Agreements.
  • Create moderate to complex RFP solicitations in accordance with Government and Company requirements.
  • Evaluate supplier proposal responses.
  • Conduct price and cost analysis.
  • Analyze risks and identify risk mitigations.
  • Act as the primary interface between subcontractors and supported programs for all subcontract-related issues.
  • Interact regularly with program management, contracts, project control, finance, business development, and customers as required.

Essential Skills

  • Bachelor's Degree and a minimum of 8 years of experience in subcontracts.
  • Experience with all contract types (CPIF, CPFF, FFP, T&M, etc.).
  • In-depth understanding of FAR / DFARS.
  • Strong knowledge of the government contracts and subcontracts arena.
  • Skilled at negotiation, including experience negotiating complex terms and conditions.
  • Excellent time management, organizational, and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficient in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and SharePoint document management.
  • Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • US Citizenship is required due to the sensitivity of customer-related requirements.
  • CPSR experience preferred or knowledge required.
  • Open to more junior individuals with a procurement and subcontracts mix as long as they have a strong willingness to learn.
  • Work Environment

    This position is 100% remote but requires some local presence near Lexington Park or Alexandria to come on-site if needed, typically twice a month.

    Job Type & Location

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Alexandria, VA.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $90,000.00 - $110,000.00 / yr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
