Note : This position is based at our corporate office in Phoenix, AZ, and follows a hybrid work schedule. Remote work is not available for this role. Candidates must reside within commuting distance, as relocation assistance is not provided. Additionally, applicants must be authorized to work in the United States without the need for current or future employer-sponsored visa support.

About the Role
Think of this role as part strategist, part art director, and part coach. We’re looking for a Creative Manager who can spark ideas, shape campaigns, and guide our team to do their best work. Agency roots are a big plus because we need someone who can jump into concept ideation, move fast, and create work that people notice (and remember).
What You’ll Do
- Shape and evolve our brand identity across packaging, in-store signage, digital, email, and direct mail
- Lead brainstorms that fuel bold, campaign-ready ideas
- Mentor a team of designers, keeping creativity high and burnout low
- Partner with the Creative Director and marketing leads from first spark to final execution
- Ensure design stays consistent, polished, and on-brand across every channel
- Manage timelines and resources so projects don’t just finish, they shine
- Stay ahead of creative and cultural trends to keep fresh ideas flowing
What You’ll Bring to the Pool
Bachelor’s degree in Arts or related field, or equivalent experience7+ years in brand and marketing design within agency or in-house environments, with deep experience in branding, visual identity, web, and art directionA strong online portfolio that shows range and craft (required)Proven ability to guide and mentor a design team, balancing priorities, workflows, and reviewsExcellent organizational and communication skills with the ability to adapt, prioritize, and stay composed under pressureExperience with project management systems (e.g., Monday.com)Strong attention to detail and ability to juggle multiple projects in a fast-moving environmentFamiliarity with generative AI models (ChatGPT, CoPilot, etc.) and prompt developmentAdvanced skills in Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign, plus proficiency in FigmaKnowledge of production art, printing, and production processes (packaging, direct mail, sign kits)Strong chops in brand building, typography, and visual storytellingThrive in fast-paced environments and know how to keep calm when the waters get choppyFind a meaningful balance between optimizing for speed, quality, and doing challenging, interesting, pixel-perfect workLove working with other designers to help them learn and grow—and have them help you learn and growPreferred Requirements
