About The Role

The CDL Driver II will perform duties associated with transporting hazardous and non-hazardous waste between Reworld facilities and the client's sites. Drivers will have the opportunity to operate a variety of manual and automatic transmission equipment including vacuum tankers, vacuum trucks, vans, and flatbeds.

Primary Responsibilities

• Safely operate equipment following DOT regulations, company policies and client site safety.
• Drive commercial vehicles to pick up and transport waste to a designated location safely while meeting scheduled appointments and following all DOT regulations.
• Drive trucks and operate specialized pump equipment on vehicles to load, unload, or disperse cargo or materials.
• Ensure the placarding of the vehicle meets DOT regulations as applicable.
• Complete and maintain records such as vehicle logs, vehicle inspection reports, records of cargo, and shipping manifests according to state and federal regulations.
• Communicate, verbally and electronically, with other teams including dispatch regarding delivery instructions.
• Interpret maps and follow written and verbal geographic directions.
• Inspect truck equipment and supplies such as tires, lights, brakes, gas, oil, and water.
• Secure cargo before and during transit.
• Use mobile technology for E-Logs
• Move containerized materials with-in the van using a pallet jack.
• Complete additional assigned duties.
