Job description

Job Title : Agile IT Program Manager (PMP, CSM / PMI-ACP, COTS Implementation )

Location : Atlanta, GA (Onsite - Local Metro Atlanta Candidates)

We are currently seeking candidates who meet the following qualification

Mandatory Qualifications

  • Active Project Management Professional (PMP) certification (must upload certification)
  • Active CSM (Scrum Alliance) and / or PMI-ACP certification (must upload certification)
  • Proven experience managing large, complex IT programs / projects using multiple delivery methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, Scrum, Kanban)
  • Documented experience in :

Business requirements gathering

  • Business process documentation
  • Full Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Testing Methodologies
  • Experience managing at least two full lifecycle Agile software development projects with project teams of 10+ members, with full end-to-end accountability for project management
  • Experience collaborating with vendor partners on project delivery
  • Strong leadership, interpersonal, and team motivation skills
  • Well-developed communication skills oral, written, listening, analytical, and negotiation
  • Expert knowledge of standard project management tools (MS Project Professional, SharePoint, Visio, MS Office Suite)
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field
  • Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with COTS product implementation
  • Experience with Project Server / Project Online
  • Responsibilities

  • Direct and coordinate project activities including :
  • Planning and schedule development

  • Resource tracking and allocation
  • Risk management
  • Communications management
  • Reporting
  • Quality management
  • Vendor management
  • Manage all aspects of projects from initiation through deployment / warranty
  • Ensure project delivery aligns with PMI best practices and Georgia Department of Labor PM methodology
  • Lead cross-functional project teams to deliver IT solutions impacting enterprise-wide systems
  • Monitor project progress, identify issues / risks, and implement mitigation strategies
  • Facilitate collaboration among internal teams and external vendors to ensure project success
  • Maintain detailed project documentation and provide accurate reporting to leadership
