Job description

Cheeseman Transport is hiring a CDL A or B local rollback driver in St. Louis, MO. Drivers will be locally delivering forklifts, batteries, and parts. Cheeseman Transport is a leading provider of transportation and supply chain solutions that was founded in 1946 growing from a single truck to a fleet of over 325 tractors and 1000 trailers with multiple service centers. Compensation

Hourly pay rate : $31- $33
Average hours weekly : 40-50

Overtime pay after 40 hours

Bonuses :

Sign-on bonus : $1,500

Referral bonus : $5,000

Quarterly safety bonus

Home Time, Route, & Schedule

Home Time : Home daily

Schedule : Monday - Friday

Shift : Starting around7am

Route : Delivering anywhere within a 250 mile radius of St. Louis, MO

Level of Touch : Loading & unloading freight, must secure freight

Includes strapping, blocking, and chaining

Equipment

3 axle rollback truck

Automatic transmission

Governed speed : 68mph

ELD equipped using Geotab

Outward facing camera

Qualifications

Must be at least 21 years of age

Must have CDL A or B license

Must have 1 year of flatbeddriving experience

Must have hazmat & tanker endorsements or be willing to obtain within 60 days of employment

No felony in the past 7 years

No alcohol related offense in the past 5 years

Must meet Department of Transportation (DOT) testing and physical requirements and be knowledgeable of DOT regulations

Must be able to pass a required pre-employment drug screen

Hiring Radius : Drivers must live within 40 miles of St. Louis, MO
