Senior Director of Finance - Strategic Acquisitions and Partnerships

The Senior Director of Finance - Strategic Acquisitions and Partnerships, reporting directly to the business unit CFO, will be responsible for leading the execution of M&A deals and for providing Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) support to the Partner distribution channel.
What you'll do :
- Initial assessment of targets / acquisition candidates, including identifying, researching and analyzing companies for possible acquisition; evaluating for strategic fit, conducting initial discussions with the appropriate BUs; gaining an understanding of the industry / external views and internet research related to acquisition candidate.
- Financial Modeling to include target projections, valuations, corporate impact (EPS, ROIC etc.,) business modeling and review with BU leader and BU finance leader. Would include understanding and communicating impact of deal to BU / EFX related to findings and analysis.
- Due diligence / integration support to include project management and / or integration support for specific deals.
- Provide support in the development of M&A related presentations, including presentations for M&A meetings as well as any other ad hoc reviews.
- Deal management - overall leadership of the deal transaction process including coordination with internal and external resources.
- Serves as an active business partner with Partnership distribution channel leadership team in identifying and addressing financial and business issues, bringing effective information to bear, supporting timely decision-making, and personally driving action and results on initiatives where appropriate. Influences key decisions. Frequent exposure to the CEO and Executive Team. Establishes self as the go-to person for all Partnership financial matters for the business unit.
- Oversees the preparation, reporting and analysis of financial information for the business unit, including budgets, forecasts, and monthly analyses of results. Prepares executive summaries and conducts monthly financial reviews with business unit leadership that help highlight key trends, variances, strengths and weaknesses within the business performance and contribute to timely management decision-making. Helps identify appropriate action plans which respond to opportunities and issues.
- Provides insightful, actionable analysis of revenue, customers; product lines, volumes, operating costs, profitability and capital projects on a recurring or special project basis in support of key business unit decision-making.
- Prepares annual budgets which reflect market conditions, key business drivers and strategic and operating initiatives, and properly balance realism with healthy stretch objectives. Helps identify action steps to ensure successful delivery against budgets.
What experience you need :
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics.
