Position Details :

Specialty : Emergency Medicine (MD ABEM)

Location : Mercy Hospital Ada, OK

Start Date : ASAP

Duration : Ongoing

Schedule : 5 or more shifts per month (mix of days and nights)

Shifts : 6a-6p, 11a-11p, 6p-6a

Patient Volume : Approximately 20-25 patients per day; annual volume of 30,000

EMR System : Epic

Certifications Required : BC, ACLS, BLS, PALS

Experience : 2 years recent experience preferred

State Licensure : Accepting candidates licensed in Oklahoma or willing to apply

Type of Need : Locums (Vacancy due to FTE Increase)

Additional Information :

Mercy Hospital Ada is a Level 3 Trauma center.

Board certification in Emergency Medicine (not Family Medicine or Internal Medicine) is required.

Life support certifications are necessary.

Admission rate : 15% for both adults and pediatric patients.

ED beds : 12 in Ada.

No backup required.
