Quality Control Technician

Description

Receiving Inspection and / or Production Inspection / Audits.

• Inspects manufactured products, purchased samples, materials and parts, control samples, processes, or test data for conformity to blueprints, specifications and standards.
• Inspects a variety of units using measuring / inspection instruments (e.g. micrometers, gauges and calipers) with proper inspection techniques.
• Make decisions regarding product acceptance per product documentation and company workmanship criteria.
• Document inspection activities on appropriate inspection records.
• Maintain inspection records in an organized manner.
• Document product discrepancies per company procedures.
• Reads, interprets and utilizes Quality policies, procedures, blueprints and other documentation.
• Understand geometric dimensioning and tolerancing.
• Completes First Article Inspection (FAI) forms to ensure compliance with requirements, while inspecting FAI units.
• Capable of supporting multiple product lines and / or commodities.
• Answer quality & inspection questions.
• Acquire applicable skill / knowledge / certifications and complete trainings as required.
• Ability to prioritize numerous tasks to meet schedule needs.
• May perform other job duties as required and be available for overtime, as needed

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $40.78 - $40.78 / hr.
