As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in helping to deter security-related incidents within high-profile financial institution locations. Your responsibilities will include conducting thorough and visible patrols, maintaining a strong presence to help deter unwanted activity, and providing outstanding customer service to all visitors and staff. This is an armed position, requiring you to maintain the highest standards of professionalism and integrity while upholding our company values of agility, reliability, and innovation. You will interact directly with clients and the public, responding to situations as they arise and contributing to a welcoming and secure environment. Position Type : Part Time

Pay Rate : $21.50 / Hour

Job Schedule :

Day Time Mon 08 : 30 AM - 05 : 30 PM Sat 08 : 30 AM - 02 : 30 PM

What You'll Do :

  • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities :

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Conduct regular and random armed patrols around the location and its perimeter, which may include both interior and exterior areas.
  • Monitor for unusual activity or potential threats and report findings according to established protocols.
  • Assist in controlling access to restricted areas within the financial institution to help to deter unauthorized entry.
  • Maintain a visible presence to help to deter potential criminal activity and / or disruptive behavior.
  • Collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency responders when necessary.
  • Complete detailed incident and activity reports as required by Allied Universal and site-specific guidelines.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Must possess a valid armed guard card or license.
  • Baton certification is preferred.
  • Pepper spray certification is preferred.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security-related training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
