Boarhog is searching for a Senior level Systems Engineer (eCRAFT category ESY3) as a valued member of the team responsible for applying interdisciplinary engineering skills in the technical planning, systems integration, verification and validation, cost and risk and supportability and effectiveness analyses at all levels of total system product including concept, design, fabrication, test, installation, operation, maintenance and disposal. Systems Engineers perform functional analysis, timeline analysis, and detailed trade studies, requirements allocation and interface definition studies to translate customer requirements into technical solutions and continuously validate those solutions through delivery. This position will commence at about half time.

Specifically, the Naval Information Warfare Systems Center (NIWC) Pacific Transport and Computing Infrastructure (TCI) Portfolio requires networking, communication, and computer systems, and associated certification and information assurance for the development, current operations and planned upgrades for the Consolidated Afloat Network and Enterprise Services (CANES) Program.

EDUCATION :

Bachelor's level degree in an Engineering discipline

EXPERIENCE :

Seven (7) years of professional experience in systems engineering

ADDITIONAL SELECTION CRITERIA :

• Must possess a DoD Secret Clearance
• Preference is given to candidates who reside in a Historically Underutilized Business Zone (HUBZone) as determined by the Small Business Administration (see SBA website)
