Responsibilities Work in a hospital-based diagnostic imaging department Variable shifts with weekend requirements to be discussed during the interview No on-call requirements May be required to float to any facility location within 60 miles according to organizational policy Patient population includes surgery and trauma cases Use Epic EMR for charting; previous Epic experience preferred Perform diagnostic radiology procedures while following all safety and radiation protocols Prepare and position patients for exams, providing information and responding to physical and emotional needs Administer IV starts and contrast as required Act as a clinical resource and role model for students and staff Maintain technical operation and cleanliness of imaging equipment Flu shot required during flu season (Nov 1–Mar 31); only medical exemptions accepted with physician documentation Must contribute to ongoing education and knowledge sharing within the team Requirements Minimum 1 year of post-certification radiologic technologist experience Current ARRT-R (Radiology) certification required Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association required High school diploma or GED required Experience in surgery and trauma diagnostic imaging required Must be able to instruct and mentor student radiographers License required if applicable No pending licenses allowed for consideration Candidates must reside more than 60 miles from the facility Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID P-619725.
