JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY

Take a primary role in the strategic planning process. Plan, develop, and implement strategies for all facets of business operations, including but not limited to budgeting, administration, supply chain. Have a strong focus on long-term growth and identify tactics and practices to accomplish goals. Establish benchmarks and metrics to evaluate progress and measure success. Work closely with stakeholders from across the organization.

JOB DESCRIPTION DETAILS

  • Ensure all plans reconcile and meet corporate growth objectives. (, master plan/MTP, budget, product pruning)
  • Monitor business and operation changes to ensure plans remain current and valid.
  • Perform business process analysis/business impact analysis (BPA/BIA), risk assessments of essential functions and/or information systems in accordance with federal directives and industry best practices.
  • Analyze performance data, highlighting key findings.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders within and outside organization to develop and analyze opportunities.
  • Foster core strategy development, large scale implementation and process optimization. (, SC risk mitigation, SC strategy planning including global and local alignment, Develop SC play book (risk mitigation strategies)
  • Ensure reconciliation with financial goals such as revenue, margin, turns, and optimal inventory.
  • Prepare and update the monthly performance to Plan, Prior forecast, and LY.
  • Develop tools, manage, and recap monthly reporting for review by business partners, supporting required analysis and business decisions.
  • Coordinate meetings with stakeholders, document and distribute meeting minutes, ensure actions items are completed on time, communicate project status, escalate issues to management as appropriate.
  • Collaborate with leaders, business analysts, project managers, IT architects, technical leads, and other developers, along with internal and external customers, to understand requirements and develop needs according to business requirements.
  • Create executive-level summaries and analysis that identify and make a compelling case for future opportunities.
  • Mentor and develop direct report.
  • Oversee, delegate, and review tasks given to direct report.

Management

  • Continually and proactively demonstrates strong leadership and managerial skills in recruiting, selecting, training, motivating, reviewing, coaching, developing, and retaining a high-performance team.
  • Establishes and monitors daily work schedule and priorities to ensure targeted goals are met; make necessary changes to ensure optimum operations.
  • Determines budget objectives; reviews forecast and goals for distribution (one or multiple sites); ensures expenditures are in alignment with approved budget.
  • Conducts timely and accurate employee performance evaluations; addresses performance issues as needed.
  • Ensures compliance in Health, Environment & Safety/Quality in all areas of operations; ensure company policies and guidelines, as set forth in the Corporate Human Resources Policy manual are followed; maintain a safe and clean work environment.
  • Develops, implements, maintains and enforces policies, procedures based on best practices and intra-departmental communications; maintains managerial relationships by encouraging and providing a timely, two-way flow of information between subordinates, management, Viega GmbH counterparts and user groups.
  • Develop organizational strategies, analysis, and recommendations for department; ensure objectives align with organizational objectives; continually evaluate existing processes to determine areas of improvement.
  • Monitors staffing requirements to ensure department is fully always covered; authorizes sick-time, vacation requests, expense reports and ADP activities.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Familiar with financial benchmarks, liabilities, depreciation, and amortization.
  • Comfortable running budget plans and collaborating with other teams to accomplish goals.

Education, Certification/License & Work Experience

  • 7-10 years of work experiences in various positions preferred.
  • Bachelor's or Graduate's Degree in business, business administration, computer science, engineering, statistics or information systems.

Equivalent combinations of education and experience may be considered.

Total Rewards Package:

Compensation:

  • Base: $85,000 - $115,000 annually (CO), based on specific compensable factors including, but not limited to education, work experience, and geographic market.
  • Bonus: This role will be eligible for participation in a discretionary annual bonus program, pursuant to which an employee may be awarded a percentage of their salary based on the company’s performance and their own individual performance.
