Job Title : Technical Program Manager III for Launch Operations Job Description

The Technical Program Manager III will serve as the Single Threaded Owner for inputs and outputs to Launch Operations for ALG and Hosted Payload Services. This position involves close collaboration with engineering and manufacturing teams to integrate satellites with dispenser and launch vehicle hardware. The role requires technical leadership and guidance in various aspects, including testing requirements, facility and equipment planning, integration and test application implementation, process control, design for manufacturability, project management, and tooling design.

Responsibilities

• Lead the integration and testing of space hardware with a focus on hardware testing and test equipment.
• Collaborate with Launch Operations / Mission Management on relationships with Launch Providers, Dispenser providers, and Payload Processing Facility leadership.
• Provide technical challenges to assumptions and requirements in dynamics and thermal analysis, design engineering, and tooling engineering.
• Manage day-to-day deliverables, dependencies, and schedule, driving projects through incremental phases.
• Establish processes to track goals, objectives, milestones, progress, and risks.
• Lead an ongoing launch readiness program to systematically drive progress and complete program milestones.
• Identify and operationalize metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs) to track progress, resolve issues, and mitigate risks.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Los Angeles, CA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $60.00 - $75.00 / hr.
