Job Description - Maintenance Mechanic

Responsibilities :

• Dismantles and moves machines and equipment / replaces defective parts.
• Installs, repairs, and maintains machinery and mechanical equipment by completing preventive maintenance.
• Locates sources of problems by observing mechanical devices in operation.
• Determines changes in requirements of parts by inspecting and measuring various instruments.
• Maintains inventories of equipment parts and supplies by checking stock and submitting requisitions.
• Completes routine preventive maintenance.
• Provides mechanical maintenance information by answering questions and requests.
• Maintains a safe and clean work environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations. Ability to operate machinery and technical equipment.
• In-depth knowledge of system maintenance
• Ability to lift and move heavy equipment
• Familiarity with safety standards and regulations
• Skilled in analyzing information and communication

Essential Job Functions and additional Requirements :

This is a full-time position, Monday through Friday, 6 : 00 a.m. to 2 : 30 p.m. with a 30-minute unpaid lunch break. Must be willing to work overtime including weekends, if required.
