Job Summary:

We are searching for a Senior Accountant with a strong background in public accounting (CPA preferred) and expertise in Financial Reporting and SEC & Regulatory Reporting compliance. This role offers a unique opportunity to take ownership of both monthly financial close activities and SEC filings with a focus on GAAP and SEC regulations. Located in Tampa, FL (Hybrid), this position supports financial statement preparation, regulatory filings, process improvements, and cross-functional collaboration.

Schedule: Hybrid (1-day remote, great hours!)

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and review SEC filings (10-Q, 10-K, 8-K) with GAAP/SEC compliance, footnotes, and MD&A
• Collaborate with auditors, FP&A, tax, treasury; support SOX compliance and technical accounting research
• Prepare journal entries, reconciliations, and elimination entries for month-end/quarterly/annual closes
• Ensure revenue recognition (ASC 606) compliance and prepare consolidated financial statements
• Perform variance analysis, develop financial reports, and provide management insights
• Maintain account reconciliations with supporting documentation for accurate reporting
• Identify automation opportunities to improve reporting efficiency

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting
• CPA eligible required, CPA preferred
• 3+ years of accounting experience
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, with strong emphasis on Excel
