As a Security Officer - Access Control Full-Time in Los Angeles, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As an Allied Universal Security Professional assigned to an access control post in a commercial real estate location, you will monitor and patrol designated areas, helping to deter security-related incidents while maintaining a welcoming presence. Your role will involve conducting routine patrols, being visible to help prevent unauthorized access, and delivering outstanding customer service. You will play a key part in creating a secure and approachable environment for all occupants and visitors.

What You'll Do :

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities :

Provide customer service to clients and visitors by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and assisting with emergency response activities as needed.

Control access to the location by verifying credentials and managing entry points, helping to deter unauthorized access.

Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, reporting relevant information to the appropriate personnel.

Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and its perimeter to help to deter potential security-related issues and observe for irregularities.

Document and report any unusual observations or incidents as per site protocols.

Work closely with building management and other personnel to maintain a secure environment for all occupants and visitors.

Maintain a visible presence throughout the property to help to deter unwanted activity and provide reassurance to tenants and guests.

Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available.

Minimum Requirements :

Must have at least 2 years of security-related experience.

Must be at least 21 years of age.

Customer service experience is preferred.

Experience using a computer or tablet is preferred.

A valid guard card or license is preferred.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
