Cell Procurement Engineer

Job Description

Key Responsibilities

1、Material Sourcing & Procurement

(1) Responsible for global sourcing, RFQ, cost analysis, commercial negotiation, and supplier qualification of lithium-ion battery cell materials, ensuring competitive costs and stable supply.

(2) Follow up on purchase order execution, delivery schedules, payments, and exception handling.

(3) Support material validation and localization projects.

2、Supplier Management

(1) Develop and qualify suppliers, conduct market research and background assessment of potential suppliers.

(2) Organize supplier audits, factory assessments, and monthly / annual performance evaluations.

(3) Participate in supplier contract negotiation, execution, and management, ensuring compliance with company procurement policies and regulations.

3、Market & Cost Analysis

(1) Monitor global lithium-ion battery raw material markets.

(2) Analyze logistics, tariffs, and total cell cost.

(3) Identify supply risks and propose mitigation plans to ensure continuous supply.

4、Policy & Compliance Management

(1) Analyze North American local policies and lithium-ion industry regulations, and develop compliant supply chain strategies accordingly.
