We are looking for a Nuclear Med Tech for a schedule of Monday-Friday 630am -3pm in Lake Geneva, WI, with rotating call every 3rdweekend in Janesville, WI Saturday only 7- Noon.\nRequirements : \nGraduate of an accredited nuclear medicine program\nCNMT or ARRT(N) required\nAHA BLS\nESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES\n\nPerforms Nuclear Medicine procedures and related techniques to produce diagnostic images for physician interpretation.\nPrepares patients for procedures insuring patient's meets requirements.\nProvides instruction to obtain desired results, gain cooperation and minimize anxiety.\nApplies principles of Nuclear Medicine safety to minimize risk to patient, self and others.\nOperates nuclear medicine equipment and other associated equipment to achieve desired results.\nPositions the patient and equipment to best demonstrate the anatomic area of interest, respecting patient ability, safety and comfort. Immobilizes patients as required for appropriate examination.\nSelects appropriate parameters with consideration given to established protocols and other factors influencing data acquisition parameters.\nPerforms venipuncture, starts and maintains venous access. Prepares and administers radioactive isotopes, ensuring that the correct isotope and dose is used.\nAssists with medical record / image sharing as necessary\nEvaluates images and data for technical quality.\nReports and documents Nuclear Medicine safety incidents / adverse events per protocol.\nManipulates and processes digital data for display, ensuring proper identification is evident.\nUses radiology information systems including PACS, completes all required records and reports, archives and submits images for physician review and interpretation.\nUtilizes appropriate scripting, barriers, and patient identifiers.\nDocuments all information pertinent to nuclear medicine procedure in electronic medical record to include medication reconciliation.\nEnsures patient receives discharge information regarding their exam\nOrder radiopharmaceutical through vendor specific protocol\nAssist PET services as needed\n\n\n
Catalytic Solutions Job ID #4-291673. Pay package is based on 8 hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
